While traveling to Central America, and doing our best to observe the different cultures, such as visiting the wonderful historical sites, seeing it as it was certainly different from the world we know in North America.
After our adventure had ended and we once again set our feet on U.S. soil, we found the most beautiful heart reaching and emotional words one could imagine, and it was gifted to us from the smiling U.S. Customs agent upon our walking through customs in Texas after our return trip.
The words came from his heart, and the words still choke me up, when he said “Welcome Home to the United States of America”, for sure, we had visible tears of gratitude to his welcoming greeting and so grateful to be back home again.
