I for one, as well as Society, applaud those dedicated designers and manufacturing pioneers of prosthesis and the shops small and large that continue to bring forth the ability for those (way-to-many) who have lost arms, legs or hands, birth defects and handicaps.
It is so wonderful that many today are provided these aids; I salute those that had/have passion for those affected and who chose to develop them and, in many cases, have provided some partial return to normalcy and dignity.
With this said, I salute my old next-door neighbor Big Mike M., for all the years he spent making life a little easier and hopefully pleasant for many in his development of prostheses for so
many.
Thank you, Big Mike.
